About us

Empowering ToMorrow’s generation (ETM) is a Belgian development organisation, with no political, religious or governmental affiliation, centred on children.
We strive for a world in which all children can fully develop their creativity, and we work with respect for human dignity.
Our main objective is to give children in the poorest regions of the world new prospects for the future. To this end, we carry out and support sustainable projects that fundamentally improve their living conditions.
Who are we?
Our vision

Investing in children is investing in the future
We want to invest in children, because investing in them means investing in the future, upholding their rights and contributing to sustainable development. In a world where children are the strong link capable of breaking the relentless, vicious circle of poverty for future generations.

Our mission
To contribute, with our partners, to reducing poverty and discrimination , through the lasting social, family and economic reintegration of the poorest and most vulnerable children and young people, particularly girls. These vulnerable children include street-connected children, children accused of witchcraft, orphans, demobilised children, children with disabilities… Drawing on its expertise, ETM pays particular attention in its work to children’s rights and gender.

-
By offering young people in the North a field of action that allows them to learn and grow through hands-on solidarity work;
-
By working with partners in the countries of the South who share our values;
-
By acting with respect for religious, cultural and philosophical identities;
-
By giving vulnerable children access to their fundamental rights to health and education.
-
By seeking sustainable, innovative and inclusive solutions.
We will achieve our objectives:

We firmly believe that diversity is a major asset for our organisation.
