Our targeted actions: one-off support
Because every emergency counts, Empowering ToMorrow's generation (ETM) also responds in a flexible, agile way. Beyond our long-term programmes, we provide one-off technical, financial and logistical support to meet immediate needs, strengthen local capacities and support initiatives close to the hearts of our members.
These projects, although diverse, share the same objective: to provide a rapid, practical response wherever children’s access to education and their protection are under threat. They are generally based on micro-projects, which can be paused and resumed depending on needs, requests and available funding. The countries where these one-off interventions take place are: Senegal (Nianing), Burkina Faso (Kaya), Uganda, and Mexico through the project La Casa Oaxaqueña.
La Casa Oaxaqueña: Historically one of ETM's very first projects, the Casa Oaxaqueña provides substantial support for access to education through the sponsorship of children and young people. Unlike our structural projects, Casa Oaxaqueña does not rely on a local non-profit organisation integrated into national development strategies. It nevertheless remains a historic and emblematic ETM project, driven by a tradition of direct solidarity.
Did you know? Why choose flexibility? One-off support lets us cut through administrative red tape in a major crisis, or seize opportunities for direct solidarity, ensuring that every donation is immediately turned into visible impact on the ground. What is more, these projects require very little management, relying mainly on direct collaboration with the ETM member behind the initiative.
