The project "Reaching Street Children through Street Presence" aims to put in place a safety net in and around Bangalore to ensure the well-being of children at risk who are most in need of care and protection.

Objectives

Here are the activities carried out and the results achieved over the past year.

1. Presence on the streets

2. Rescuing children

3. Rehabilitation measures

4. Awareness-raising and training activities

5. Volunteer involvement

6. Networking and advocacy

Activities

In 2022-2023, BOSCO touched the lives of 4,963 children and young people across the country.

Children in vulnerable situations were identified through close monitoring and active involvement in the slums. Thanks to this project, we are able to rescue children in the golden hours following their arrival in the city, thus preventing them from falling into the wrong hands.
