Supporting SISP India, raising awareness in Belgium of North/South issues.

Objectives

Fundraising, member of a number of GROS (municipal development cooperation councils), newsletter published three times a year (Krokantje).

Activities

Since it began, hundreds of young people have been able to study thanks to SISP and, with strengthened self-confidence, have found their place in India’s complex society.

Their families, widows and single women, better equipped and supported by SISP, have been able to escape extreme poverty

SISP India is firmly integrated into the local community and works with the municipal authorities, the police, social organisations for children and young people, health services, schools…. without distinction of religion or caste, and with special attention to girls and women.
